In the video, National Celebrant Award Runner Up, Rosalind is in conversation with Becca from the B Word at Bristol’s Fake Wedding Fair.
More couples are choosing to use a celebrant for their wedding ceremony. Here are some of their reasons why:
Guidance
“I appreciated the guidance from our celebrant. Like an architect she helped us design our wedding as if designing our own home. We then filled each room with individuality and entertainment.”
– Andy, Bristol

Choice and freedom
“I love organising and couldn’t wait to start on our wedding. The biggest shock was the ‘wedding rules’ – at each turn I was told that I couldn’t do what we wanted. A celebrant meant that we had choices.”
– Lisa, Durham

Meaningful ceremony
“I’m not religious and we didn’t want the hurried, business-like approach of a Registry Office. A celebrant offered us a meaningful wedding ceremony in which our guests could actively participate”.
– Laura, Bristol

Wonder what it’s like working with Rosalind?
“We are both so glad we took the leap into the unknown and, with Rosalind’s guidance, created something so different.
My guests say that it was the best wedding they’ve been to and many a grown man was brought to tears by the moving script.”

Covid19 Pandemic
In this time of huge uncertainty, planning your wedding may feel impossible. You may have needed to postpone your original wedding date or you may be unsure what 2021 will bring. Whatever your circumstances – I feel for you!
As a Celebrant I can offer flexibility and creativity. I am very happy to lend an ear, talk through your options and float ideas. I will do all I can to help and support you.
If you are needing to scale down your wedding to meet government guidelines, please be assured that intimate ceremonies can be very special and beautiful.
Rosalind Love Celebrant Wedding Ceremony Packages include:

- an in-depth meeting when I can listen to you and understand your wishes. We can discuss content, vows and symbolic actions, and if you want these to be religious or spiritual. I can suggest creative approaches.
- a first draft of your ceremony that we share, giving you the opportunity to request any changes
- further drafts and a final ceremony script
- your ceremony being conducted at the venue of your choice
- a presentation script as a lasting keepsake of your wedding day
Cost

If your Wedding Ceremony is within 30 minutes drive time from my home in east Bristol, this package costs £495 (an additional charge may be made if your ceremony is further afield due to the extra time needed).
If your Ceremony venue operates as a charity or social enterprise, I will donate 5% of this fee to the venue.
This includes travel within the city of Bristol. Beyond Bristol I will charge for travel and will keep these costs to a minimum.
A ceremony rehearsal can be arranged at an extra cost.
Legalities

Please note that you will need to undertake your Legal Marriage as a separate arrangement.
This can be done cheaply at your local Registry Office.
We can discuss this when we meet.
