“Rosalind calmly delivered a seamless fusion of two cultures, having studied Iranian wedding customs, and even learnt a little Farsi.  She was an indispensable figure.”

Wedding Celebrant in Bristol & beyond

In the video, National Celebrant Award Runner Up, Rosalind is in conversation with Becca from the B Word at Bristol’s Fake Wedding Fair.  Read Becca’s blog post about her meeting with Rosalind here.

More couples are choosing to use a celebrant for their wedding ceremony. Here are some of their reasons why:

Guidance

“I appreciated the guidance from our celebrant. Like an architect she helped us design our wedding as if designing our own home. We then filled each room with individuality and entertainment.”
– Andy, Bristol

Choice and freedom

“I love organising and couldn’t wait to start on our wedding. The biggest shock was the ‘wedding rules’ – at each turn I was told that I couldn’t do what we wanted. A celebrant meant that we had choices.”
– Lisa, Durham

Meaningful ceremony

“I’m not religious and we didn’t want the hurried, business-like approach of a Registry Office.  A celebrant offered us a meaningful wedding ceremony in which our guests could actively participate”.
– Laura, Bristol

Cost

Rosalind Love, Wedding Ceremony, Bristol

If your Wedding Ceremony is within 30 minutes drive time from my home in east Bristol, this package costs £465 (an additional charge may be made if your ceremony is further afield due to the extra time needed).

If your Ceremony venue operates as a charity or social enterprise, I will donate 5% of this fee to the venue.

This includes travel within the city of Bristol. Beyond Bristol I will charge for travel and will keep these costs to a minimum.

A ceremony rehearsal can be arranged at an extra cost.

A word about Civil Partnerships

Since same sex marriage became legal in 2013, fewer couples are opting for Civil Partnerships.  A Civil Partnership is still the preferred option for some and if this is true for you, please note that the package and costs shown on this page are applicable to Civil Partnerships as well.

Legalities

Please note that you will need to undertake your Legal Marriage or Civil Partnership in advance of your ceremony.

This can be done cheaply at your local Registry Office.

We can discuss this when we meet.
