Wedding Ceremony – Lower House Farm, Herefordshire

The ceremony was calm and peaceful and Rosalind delivered it with the perfect mix of sincerity and levity. She was a wonderful person to have alongside us on our wedding planning journey and we cannot recommend her highly enough!

Civil Partnership Ceremony – The Tower Belle, River Avon

Our guests were as charmed by Rosalind as we were; her ready smile and great sense of humour won everyone over. She found a balance of seriousness and silliness and really got a sense of who we are and what we value.

Rosalind made a real effort to get to know us. This not only resulted in a great experience from our side, but it really showed during the ceremony, which was both personal and touching, as if it had been written by a friend.

Wedding Celebrant in Bristol & beyond

In this video, I’m in conversation with Becca from the B Word at Bristol’s Fake Wedding Fair ~ talking about all things Wedding Celebrant ~ the what, why and how of the role. I hope it gives you good insights ~ and that you feel curious and excited about the possibility of opting for a Celebrant and making your ceremony the stand out experience of your wedding day. Inspired? Let’s have a chat. . .

Here’s how I work as a Wedding Celebrant. . .

Your wedding will be one of the most memorable days of your life. . .  which is why, for me, the time we spend in advance to co-create your ceremony is so important.

I offer a facilitated process that allows you to explore what is really important to you.  We start with a blank canvas so that we can be creative and flexible.

Learning what makes you tick as a couple is such a joy ~ as is finding the perfect words and rituals to express your love and commitment.

With my guidance and your input, the tone and content of your ceremony ~whether traditional or less conventional ~ will unfold to create an experience that is uniquely yours.

On your Wedding day, I will conduct your ceremony in a warm and engaging manner, making sure that everyone feels comfortable throughout.

And most important of all, I will hold the space with confidence so that you can both enjoy and relish every single moment.

I conduct weddings in Bristol, Bath, into Somerset and Gloucestershire and beyond into Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire and Monmouthshire.

And the practicalities for your Wedding Ceremony booking. . .

You will receive a professional and attentive wraparound experience, which will include:

  • meeting and conversation time – in person or online – when we get to know each other and creatively explore all aspects of your bespoke wedding ceremony. We will all take away ideas to consider and develop
  • once we have all material and contributions, I will create and share a first draft of your ceremony
  • an iterative process to agree a final version of your wedding ceremony (last minute tweaks always possible!)
  • your Wedding Ceremony conducted at venue, where I will arrive in good time to ensure all is in hand
  • a commemorative script as a lasting keepsake of your Wedding

Wedding Celebrant, Bristol & Beyond ~ my fee

If your Wedding Ceremony is within 30 minutes drive time from my home in east Bristol, my fee is £725 (an additional charge may be made if your ceremony is further afield in for instance, Somerset or Gloucestershire, due to the extra time needed).

If your Ceremony venue operates as a charity or social enterprise, I will donate 5% of this fee to the venue.  Recent beneficiaries have been Doynton Village Hall, Redcatch Community Garden, Arnos Vale Cemetery, Batheaston Village Hall, Frenchay Village Hall and Winterbourne Medieval Barn Trust

This includes travel within the city of Bristol. Beyond Bristol, l I will charge for travel and will keep these costs to a minimum.

A ceremony rehearsal can be arranged at an extra cost.

For an informal chat and to find out if I’m the right Celebrant for your wedding ceremony  Please get in touch about your wedding>

Please note that you will need to undertake your Legal Marriage as a separate arrangement. This can be done cheaply at your local Registry Office. We can discuss this when we meet.
